Reminiscent of Italy.

I drive by these fields pretty much every day,

 but yesterday they really caught my eye!

I have great admiration for artists who paint abstracts.

While finding my around the process of painting oils, I began to push the paint into shapes and textures hoping to create some sense of balance.

When finished the painting had a familiarity about it but it took a couple of months before I realized that it reminded me of the colours and textures of Italy.
